17 More Days...

Hello Everyone!

My summer is chugging right along! I can't believe it is already the end of July. I only have 17 more days here at Northern Tier for the summer. The time has definitely flown by.

I don't have a whole lot to report as fun or interesting news. The weather has finally cooled down a bit. It is now in the 70's and fairly nice. It has been very humid lately.

Notes from the past two weeks:

 - The past two weeks have been the peak of our season here in Atikokan. We have had a lot of crews come through our program, which is great to see. We are now on the down swing. The last of our crews come on the 5th of Aug. and then the last crews come off water on the 12th.

 -  Happy belated birthday to my Great Aunt LaVerne and my sister, Kayla! Also, happy birthday to my Aunt Nicole and my cousin and Godchild, Ruthie!

 - The Olympics have begun! Unfortunately I will only catch bits and pieces, seeing as we do not have a TV here. USA, make us proud!

I will be headed home on the 15th of August. On Thursday the 16th I will be at home unpacking and repacking. Then, early Friday morning I am off again, this time to school for the fall. I like to keep myself busy, as you all know :)

I have been thinking of you all and can't wait to see some of you in my short time home. I will try to see as many of you as I can!

Wishing you all a wonderful day! - Kyle
