Hello Everyone!
Things have been pretty steady in my world, hence no blogs recently. But, things have still been busy. I have worked a lot recently in order to keep up with all the crews we have coming to the camp and have been busy providing the best customer service I can! The only real talk of the week for me was my Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Ice Cream Pie. I went to town on Friday and bought all the ingredients I needed and made my pie. I have enjoyed sharing my work-of-art with my friends :)
A few points of interest.....
Last night I saw the best northern lights display you could possibly imagine! I know, I know, I still have photos to put up from our trip to Thunder Bay, but I will get those, as well as the pictures of the northern lights, up as soon as possible.
Another cool thing is that the the General Manager of Northern Tier, Kevin Dowling, visited our base today and my boss and I would both awarded the General Manager's Award of Excellence for our work in straightening up the Trading Post and having a good month in June. I was pleasantly surprised and humbled that he would notice our work.
Again, nothing of much interest up here in Atikokan. I am having a good time with friends and enjoying my summer. Please pray for safe travels and a good time for Kayla, Rachel, and Mom and Dad as they travel to Arkansas for Habitat For Humanity.
Love from the north, Kyle
